Cougar Band Patrons, Inc. (CBPI) is an all-volunteer support organization for the Miami Killian Senior High School Band Program. We provide financial and logistical support to Marching Band and Guard, Wind Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Bands when these groups perform at events, competitions and evaluations throughout the school year. 

CBPI raises and administers funds to cover student band   camps, clinics, rehearsals and training expenses which are year-round, all in benefit of the band programs. Band activities such as instruction, travel, equipment and performances represent a lot of concession sales and car washes, so we depend on the generous donations from individuals and corporate sponsors. 

CBPI is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization; all donations and contributions received are tax-deductible, and is a registered charity under the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Additional information about our organization is available upon request.

Current Board Members:

All parents and students are encouraged to participate in this organization. Parent volunteers who have been nominated and elected by the general membership run the organization. All parents are considered members if their child participates in the Marching Cougar Band.  The CBPI functions as a separate entity from Miami Killian High School and publishes its own set of rules referred to as the CBPI Constitution and By-laws. This organization is a recognized as a non-profit organization and charitable contributions are always welcome.
